The INN Between is Utah's first hospice house for the homeless. Our mission is to provide a safe and comfortable place where Utah's homeless men and women can experience the end of life with dignity, receiving professional hospice services in the company of people who care. As an AmeriCorps Member you will work with The INN Between’s staff to assist respite residents in accessing mainstream benefits and entitlements; seeking and gaining employment; accessing community resources, and applying for housing.You will directly assist our residents by providing transportation to medical and other required appointments; developing resumes, obtaining missing documentation, and support transitioning from The INN Between to other housing solutions. You will also conduct assessments and enter data into the HMIS database.
These are full-time positions, 40 hours per week Monday -Friday. The daily schedule may vary.
Start date is Oct. 1, 2016 and the contract term ends on Sept. 30, 2017.
