Volunteer Opportunity in SLC
The 2015 Living Traditions Festival will be held May 15-18th and we are looking for your assistance in recruiting volunteers. Our volunteers provide an invaluable service to the operation and spirit of this festival. We look forward to another incredible weekend highlighting the traditional dance, crafts and delicious cuisine of more than forty ethnic communities living in the Salt Lake Valley. Over 300 volunteers are needed to help with merchandise, children’s area, beverages, stage assistance and more.
I have attached a sheet and general schedule of available shifts. Feel free to make copies and distribute them to other supervisors. Please return the sign-up sheet to the Salt Lake City Arts Council either by mail or Fax (801-530-0547) no later than Friday, May 1, 2015.
Thank you for your continued support of this special event. Your volunteers make an incredible contribution to the festival and I look forward to working with them. For more information or assistance, please call me at the Salt Lake City Arts Council at 801-596-5000 or contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am pleased to work with you throughout this exciting and diverse multi-cultural event.
