KUED Makers Event
To celebrate the kickoff of another six episodes of the Makers: Women Who Make America series, KUED will be holding a premier screening and reception. The Makers project features groundbreaking American women in different spheres of influence: war, comedy, space, business, Hollywood, and politics.
Each program will profile prominent women and relate their struggles, triumphs and contributions as they reshaped and transformed the landscape of their chosen vocations. The films, directed and produced by the country’s leading independent filmmakers, build on the multi-platform initiative developed by AOL that aims to be the largest collection of women’s stories ever assembled and includes a growing collection of over 250 original interviews online at MAKERS.com.
