Rainwater Harvesting Workshop
at the EcoGarden

What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys? How about a barrel of harvested rain!!!

Join us on Saturday, April 5th from 10am to noon for a hands on workshop in partnership with Wasatch Community Gardens.
We will be going over the basics of what you need and how to set it up your own recycled barrel (donated by Swire Coca-Cola). A limited number of 35 gallon rain barrels will be assembled for just $40. This is an amazing deal, you must sign-up ahead of time for a rain barrel to be able to get one at the workshop (space is very limited number).

Workshop cost: $10.00
Workshop + Rain Barrel: $50.00

Project Oxygen: April 26th
with Mark Miller Subaru

Welcome to Project Oxygen! TreeUtah and Salt Lake County Million Trees are excited for our new partnership with Mark Miller Subaru.

Mark Miller Subaru recognizes the seriousness of Utah's poor air quality which inspired them to start their 'Driving Green' program to help protect and give back to Utah communities. For every car sold by Mark Miller Subaru dealerships, we will plant a tree along the Jordan River this Spring (and up at Solitude Ski Resort this Fall).

SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, April 26th - 9am to 1pm
We will plant 2,000 trees or more at each event! Join TreeUtah and Mark Miller employees to make a difference at these fun plantings and celebrations of the environment. As always we encourage carpooling, taking public transit, or human powered travel to attend these events. RSVP and share the event on Facebook.

Registration is also required, click HERE!
