Tuesday, March 4: Meet with representatives from different academic departments and find out what is available for you at SLCC and what possibilities lie ahead in your future career. Student Event Center, Taylorsville Redwood Campus, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Program Information, fun, prizes (including the chance to win a tuition waiver)

TypeFocus, Career Coach and UtahFutures are designed to help you find a good career by providing the most current data on wages, employment, job postings, associated education and training for your region, and assessments to help you look at how you align with different career opportunities.
ACADEMIC AND CAREER ADVISORS

TRY A CAREER ASSESSMENT
Take a Career Assessment to investigate your strengths. The Academic Advising Office offers the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Typology Indicator) and the Strong Interest Inventory at a minimal cost, or TypeFocus, available for FREE through your Student Tab on your MyPage (look under "Student Resources," then "Type Focus") - all of which may help reveal your talents, preferences and skills and start you in the right direction toward your career exploration process.
