Job Title: Neighborhood Specialist
Job Summary: Responsible for preparing and delivering emergency food shares for low-income households with food insecurities and be a referral resource for other SLCAP programs and basic household necessities. All efforts focus on providing emergency food and educating low-income households on emergency services and resources available in the community that will help to stabilize the management of the home. Supervises volunteers and community service workers. Tracks volunteer hours and in-kind donations. Prepares monthly pantry reports. Maintains online client database and archives. Maintains clean and organized office and pantry space.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred. 2 years of related experience required. Acquire and maintain a food handler’s permit
Wage: $11.02 - $13.40 depending on experience
