New Community Partner: Choice Humanitarian

Choice Humanitarian is a Salt Lake City based NGO that fights poverty in Kenya, Nepal, Bolivia, Guatemala and Mexico. Choice is approaching its 30 year anniversary.

There is just too much about Choice for me to cover in a blog post, but here are some bullets about Choice beliefs:
  • All people and communities have the right to become self-reliant and self-developing
  • Women and girls must be equal citizens
  • Access to sufficient clean drinking water, education, health care, nutritious food, and economic opportunity is fundamental to self-reliance and self-development
  • Rich or poor, we all have something of value to contribute culturally, socially, economically and environmentally
Pretty hard to argue with any of those...

Choice is currently looking for two interns:
Programming Intern
  • 6 month internship
  • collect, track, update and evaluate field data and projects
  • hours flexible, much can be done from home

Accounting Intern
