  1. I was in the American read program for 2 1/2 years. it's a program that helps student who want to be part of their community and want to make a change in the community. I volunteered in David Gourley Elementary School, it's a very good school they help student who have problem in English or with any trouble they have regarding education. Thayne Center is the right place if your looking to do something positive in the community.

  2. I'm new to the America read program, and do site work at David Gourley Elementary. It is a very pleasing atmosphere, the teachers are happy to have the extra help and the children put a smile on my face daily. Utilizing my time to help children with a needed skill such as reading is great for everyone! Jessica
