Fill A Hungry Tummy!


What? Many Utah children go hungry on weekends & holidays. Many individuals and families are struggling to find a home. Please participate in the Utah Food Bank’s BackPack Program by donating nourishing food for children on their long holiday break, and/or donate to The Road Home to help reduce homelessness.

Please Donate:
~Donate filled, zipper-lock storage bags (quart or gallon sizes)
~Pre-fill bags with child friendly, healthy, nutritious, and non-perishable food

• Deliver donations to the Thayne Center or the Taylorsville
Redwood Campus, Student Center in front of the copy center.
• Children’s backpack
• Shelf-stable milk (8 oz)
• Peanut butter (12 oz)
• Granola bars (healthy varieties)
• Boxed juice (6-8 oz)
• Soup (pop top)
• Tuna (easy open)
• Fruit snacks (100% juice)
• Kid size apple sauce
• Instant oatmeal packs
• Sunflower seeds, raisins, trail mix
• Fruit cups (small cans with pop tops)
• Veggie cups (small cans with pop tops)
• Cereal (small boxes, healthy varieties)

When? Hunger & Homelessness Week (November 15-19, 2010)

Where? Deliver donations to the Thayne Center or the Taylorsville Redwood Campus, Student Center in front of the copy center.
