October 15th – Hogle Zoo- Though it is getting colder, the animals at the Hogle Zoo are still out to play! Join your K-Kids buddies as we take a stroll through the zoo.

October 22nd – Library Day- School has been in session and our minds are fired up. We are heading to the library for a scavenger hunt and to learn a little more about how to find books using the library catalog. The Library is a magical place and we can’t wait to go!

October 29th- Halloween Party- Ghosts and ghouls are all around (because we are making them of course). Come with us on a Halloween adventure as we do crafts and have snacks and create our very own haunted house.

    1. Looks like a month full of fun activities. The hard part is choosing which ones to make room in my schedule for. Being a full-time college student, I can't realistically add all the volunteer opportunities into my schedule and still expect to get everything else done.

    2. Very true. We hope that the blog gives you enough variety that you'll find a few that *can* fit in your schedule. It's touch managing course loads and volunteering. Good luck!
