TreeUtah: EcoGarden and Urban Orchard Volunteer Opportunities
What? TreeUtah is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to tree planting and education. Through these actions we hope to inspire and empower our communities to become active, knowledgeable stewards of our natural environment.
Since 1990, TreeUtah has planted over 300,000 trees throughout the State of Utah. We seek to educate the public about the environmental and social benefits that healthy tree communities provide.
Volunteer Opportunities: The ecogarden, a permaculture demonstration urban orchard, is seeking volunteers! The goal of this site is to promote community gardening. Also, when anyone volunteers they are welcome to take home some of the harvest!
Volunteers will: weed, compost, water, and prune the garden!
