You're invited to our first Summer Garden Party! This coming Tuesday, 25 May, we'll meet at 9:00am to weed, water, and take care of our plot.
After that, we'll work to creating our garden community by writing in our reflection journals (donated by Clint at the SLCC Writing Center)! These journals will catalogue our experiences gardening as a community! Hope to see you there!
Every Tuesday until 12 October the Thayne Center will host a garden party from 9:00-10:00am.
Anyone who volunteers in our campus community garden plot is invited to share in the harvest! Seriously, put in one hour of weeding and our heirloom tomatoes are yours.
Some Tuesdays, like 25 May, we will have events, poetry readings, reflection sessions, etc. and other Tuesdays will only be weeding and watering. Either way, we'd love to see you there!
The garden is on SLCC's Taylorsville Redwood Campus - on the east side of the CT building, adjacent to Parking Lot A
