MORE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES...

Utah Health Policy Project

What? The Utah Health Policy Project's (UHPP) mission is to "strengthen the healthcare system while working to develop visionary and systematic solutions to the crisis of the uninsured and rising health care costs."

Volunteers:

1. Outreach Coordinator
Help spread the word about UHPP and the benefits of health reform. UHPP has signed up to have a table at community events like 5K races and farmers markets. These are great opportunities to educate Utahns about health reform and to grow UHPP's list of supporters. Great weekend volunteer opportunity!

Contact: Stacey at stacey@healthpolicyproject.org for more information.

2. Community Presenter
Educating our communities about the benefits of health reform is a monumental task. So, to drastically expand capacity, the UHPP has decided to create a Speakers Bureau. Join for a training on becoming a UHPP Community Presenter and joining the Speakers Bureau.

When? May 5th at 6:30-8:00 pm
Where? Salt Lake City Main Library (410 E 400 S) Conference Room 2 (second floor)
Contact: Jessica at Jessica@healthpolicyproject.org to sign up or just interested!

3. Office Hero
UHPP depends on volunteers to help them stay up with their day-to-day work. Volunteer during normal office hours (9-5:00) to help manage databases, health reform success stories, research, draft factsheets, outreach materials, etc.

Contact: Stacey at stacey@healthpolicyproject.org to sign up!
